The accomodation is situated in the centre of Verbania, in the immediate vicinity of the historic centre of Intra (150 m). The apartment was furnished in 2002 is on the fifth and last floor of a block of flats built in 2000. There is a lift suitable for the disabled.

At a distance of about 200 m is an equipped beach which can be used in July and August.

The area is very quiet, even if it is situated in centre of town.

Right behind the house, there is a private climbing cliff in the woods (Sasso Corbe) with several routes of varying difficulty.

In Premeno there is a small grocery store and an excellent pizzeria ("al Sole"), a five-minute walk from the house. The area is also ideal for cycling and golf (Pian di Sole golf course)
